      Le Mont Saint Michel

We had a bit of an early start today and headed down to Le Mont Saint Michel. What a miserable morning it was, it was cold, windy and raining. As we were getting closer the weather wasn't getting any better and thoughts of just keep going where at the front of our minds. As we came closer we could see Le Mont sitting amongst the mist and rain. Do we stay or do we go? We thought what the heck, we are here, it is just a bit of rain, photos won't be great but too bad, at least we have done ...

We arrived in Plerguer after about a 4 hour drive. It took for ever. When we arrived we found
      our unit easy.

We went to Mont St Michel. It is a church, a couple of shops and houses on a massive rock.

But also sad a little, because we left some of our family.
But the good thing was we went traveling. It has been fun.

Next we are off to Disney land. It is going to be SO FUN! ...

... of let Riley as a 6 yr old, do the same things that Zara is doing.
Luckily Zara has a sensible, responsible 11 yr old brother who was looking after her.

New Years Eve we celebrated by eating out at a cosy restaurant back in Cancale.
A yummy 3 course meal of fish soup, mussels and mackeral and crepes for dessert.
Greg was also able to buy some more oysters for a New Years ...

... road was built so that it was accessible all the time. Because, for some reason, the tide is very active in Mont Saint Michel and can travel up to 600m in 1 minute, apparently. Aurélia was saying that the tide is connected with the phases of the moon, but I'm not completely sure of how it works. It is interesting though. So sometimes there is a lot of water and sometimes not so much. So I spent the morning there while she was guiding and then we went back to St Malo, ...
