    ... we stayed none of them would be described as amazing. There were nice spots, mainly in the south and there was nothing particularly memorable about any of the places in the east and north that we stayed. The thing is that we have had a really good time in Germany in spite of all this and I suppose we have just come to the realisation that time is running short and we want to do fun things for the girls and this has made it fun for all of us. ...

    We headed towards Gorinshem firstly to go through that town and then onto Werkenlam. However, when we got to Gorinshem, we found that the map had not told the entire story and would not get under one of the bridges, so had to reverse a short way out. Did stop there for diesel though. Had a quick look through the town which seemed like many other Dutch towns, pretty, nice and with the usual town square.
