    ... really high... Ferry four took us to Gorinchem, where we started following the Linge river. We passed through lots of cute villages where most of the houses had thatched roofs. We saw a lot of Dutch flags with backpacks hung on the flag pole. Not sure of the significance of this... ? As we were approaching Rijswijk we could see two giant pillars in the distance. We thought these were for the bridge, but nope, we cycled ...

    ... me were a Dutch couple from Hoorn, and they were lovely. When we got to the exit, they offered to take me to my house, which I gladly accepted. Not all the way though; I had them drop me off about 200 meters from home, so I could make the dramatic walk down my own street.

    ... home town, Culemborg. We met up with the barge in Tiel where we will be staying overnight. Tomorrow is the last day of cycling, a short 30 km ride after a a couple of hours barge right into the heart of Amsterdam.
