Last day before departure

A travel blog entry by anthonygoodwin on Jun 08, 2015

We've spent the last day with final little jobs before we set off from Den Bosch. We've spent time with the cabinet maker getting plans straight for some mods in the galley and also repairs to two of the windows which had their rubber surrounds perished. You don't notice these things until the windows have to be opened. We also ...

We are in a country in mourning over the horrible tragedy involving MH17. Flags fly at half-mast everywhere. There are over 1,000,000km of bike paths ...

... good restaurants and always something happening!

4 days in stead of 3 months, impossibly short, yet somehow I managed to meet most of the people I know a bit better! A beautiful mix of camp fire music, bhajan night, chai shop chit chat and Indian home cooked meals! And of course Cindy and I had our ‘Hello to the Queen’ dessert, even though they made a very bad one! Bob, tell them next time you order one haha

Till next time guys! I shall be ...
