When we picked up the van to set off in early afternoon, it promptly died again just as we backed out the driveway! ... we were looking at yesterday were a Friesland breed and very valuable, we were assured that the farmer would have expended every effort to rescue his horse! Later in the afternoon, I walked over to check on them and all were present and correct, some eating and some going in for the mutual grooming that horses do.
