Brittany, Oysters on the Beach and Dinan

... drove along the dramatic and beautiful northern coast of Brittany to the lovely seaside town of St. Malo. It is a pretty busy place with lots of traffic, but oh the architecture of the seaside houses! I want to go back and spend a couple of days in St. Malo, although we probably will not get to do it on this trip. I think the town would be a delight to explore on foot, once the car is parked. Today is Sunday and I'm in the airport waiting for the plane to Casablanca. The last 3 days have been manic. Nellie and Jean Paul came over and we went for a brief walk to get pizza. Dinner at the appartment with cheese and sausage that Nellie and Jean Paul brought. I loved the cheese, the sausage tasted good but it was quite tough to eat. We then had a cake that is from Brittany, but I can't remember the name. Sleep time now, it's late. ...

... got to say that I have never eaten so much in one day. After crepes we had madeleines for morning tea, then roast beef, chips and spinach for lunch, with cheese after then apple pie. In the afternoon Myriam's mother made us crepes then aperitifs at Alain's parents house then seafood for dinner. They are going to have to roll me out of ...
