More time passes and the paranoia gets stronger... till I feel that I can't even stand and walk out of the pub. What I feel is hours passes and finally someone suggests we should go... we all judder to our feet and shuffle out of the pub.

The lesson is, don't wait for the 5 different ticket offices to say there's a free option after complaining about the cost. Never assume people who should know will tell you, always ask.
