... our tour of the area on our way back to Apple River. Once back home, we just enjoyed good conversation then headed out to Apple Canyon Lake for dinner.

Christina will love this. She knows how organized I am for directions and have a spreed sheet of every stop and gas station. Well folks, not tomorrow. Bill suggested we try a different route to Minneapolis so it should be interesting and fun to try a more adventurous route. Stay tuned tomorrow.

When we got to the airport, Alex was cold, so I gave him my jacket while I packed the plane. When I turned around, I was surprised to see an airport troll instead of my son. You'll have to see the picture to understand.

We took off directly into the rising sun, doing a quick 20-minute hop over to Greybull, WY, where gas was a dollar a gallon cheaper than at Cody. As we circled in to ...

... sculpted into shapes of animals, birds and other objects by ancient Indian tribes. We watched an interesting short film and went for a short hike through the woods up to a bluff above the river where some of the best preserved examples are located. It also gave us great views over the river and we encountered plenty of wildlife such as various types of squirrel and a garter snake which caused some consternation for Donelle. The wildlife hasn't been in ...
