    ... our tour of the area on our way back to Apple River. Once back home, we just enjoyed good conversation then headed out to Apple Canyon Lake for dinner.

    Christina will love this. She knows how organized I am for directions and have a spreed sheet of every stop and gas station. Well folks, not tomorrow. Bill suggested we try a different route to Minneapolis so it should be interesting and fun to try a more adventurous route. Stay tuned tomorrow.

    Today I was awake at five, but it was in bed till 8. Our accommodation for the night was another historic B&B with a chatty owner, but on a much grander scale. This one had about 12 rooms, including one in the tower accessed by a narrow spiral staircase, which we got upgraded too.
