Woke up this morning from a really good sleep. The rain has come! Knew that beaut weather wouldn't last long! Breakfast was amazing, walked into the dining room to a table full of fruit, yoghurt, cold meats, cheeses, pastries and then she gave me a full menu to choose from. Dylan Thomas was an inveterate gossip and liked Laugharne because it was full of "colossal

Laugharne - no Welsh spoken, had an English Congregational Chapel and an English castle to keep the Welsh out.

The light on the Taf estuary is amazing, hence the attraction for authors and painters.

... ve never listened to much by The Happy Mondays. I’ve been aware of their well-known songs and even owned a few on compilation albums and quite liked them but not enough to discover more of their oeuvre so didn’t have any strong expectations. Last year, for me, Maximo Park were a bit disappointing as the main headliner and we didn’t stay to the end. I rather thought we would this time though and I wasn’t wrong. Even though they only played about 4 tunes ...
