First thing was to drink a well deserved ice cold Bintang and have a chinwag with the lads whilst we waited for Mike who arrived at about midnight. We stayed up for a little while before hitting the sack as we had to be up for the shuttle bus back to airport in the morning at ...

... the rain. This had stopped when, about 30 minutes later, we arrived at Gambir train station. This left us with several hours to kill before anything much opened, so we sat in an Indo-maret (mini mart) at the station, drinking fruit punch "freezys" and filling in a form to obtain train tickets. Not only did this require our passport numbers and home addresses, but also the name of the train. We didn't know (or particularly mind) ...
