... up your football! Ha ha Per it was pretty funny!

Kiki and Per left us on Wednesday 4th of March and were heading to Koh Tao of all places. We had discussed together our onward plans before and it was funny how it turned out. Kiki & Per had planned to go to Singapore and we had planned to go to Koh Tao.

But as we know Bryan had to return to England and so we ended up going to Singapore for him to get a flight home and Kiki & Per decided to meet a friend in ...

Surprisingly also, Jakarta is quite devoid of tourists and I had like celebrity status when walking around - people wanting pictures and hundreds (Im not kidding) of school children wanting to practice their English with me. ... a group we spent the night in a guesthouse and at 4 in the morning a van brought us to the start of the trek. We hand to walk around 1,5 hours uphill to reach the summit. We were too late for the sunrise, but the volcano was so unreal! I'd never seen something like this. In the crater a lake was form of really acid water, turquoise blue. And at the edge of the lake, sulphur is naturally formed. Workers went down to take the sulphur, which is really dangerous work. With baskets of ...

... be the main attraction to the monument but to me they were. I spent hours photographing and admiring the interesting displays of history though these carvings. The main attraction of the Monas, I'm sure, would be the lift which takes you to the top of the tower. Unfortunately the lift was broken on my trip here so I couldn't go to top but I can imagine you would see stunning views of Jakarta's CBD from up there.

We left the Monas a few hours after arriving and was back ...
