    ... Very informative they said. It was the local nazi head quarters. Lots of the prisoners were 18 or younger, as these were the resistance fighters.

    We all meet at the Joest Museum, which is an ethnologic collection based on Mr Joest's travel acquisitions in the 1800's. The curation of the museum was really well done, with beautiful presentation, and thought provoking observations on religions, nomads, household organizations.

    ... twice, but it was impressive none the less. Much was underground by gas light. Thee caves were actually quarry caves where the limestone was removed by farmers and used in local buildings and also the Church domes. This tour was also by gas light and our guide left us in the darkness for a few moments just to experience true darkness. Although we only walked for 1 hour in the cave system it's ...

    ... and horse. Better yet, the campsite had a bar that was open, rather full, and ready to provide mussels etc. if required - so we could have dined three times over, in the space of three miles, at three pm on a Sunday afternoon. We settled for a beer and spent the evening surfing with the best, free, Wifi so far. Maybe something to do with this part of Europe being flat.     ... a baguette in hand. From Erezee I headed toward Grandmenil to scout the lay of the land. At the farthest extent of the German offensive, the American line was along the ridge north of this road. Seeing the sign for Sadzot, I diverted a kilometer to go see the monument there to the 75th.
