Today was our first full day of driving. A sad discovery was that the outlets don't work unless we are stopped and the generator is on. This meant that the elaborate setup of TV and x-box that Ian had set up in the reclining chair did not work for most of the day. We tried power converters from the lighter spots but without success.

Astro the cockatoo is riding in the bathtub and hisses at whoever comes ...

Breakfasted at the Atrium Cafe and got back on the road. We crossed into Pennsylvania (close to home now!) and stopped for lunch at our usual place near Pittsburgh - Dennys at the Flying J travel stop. From there, it was just a few more hours to home. We arrived back in Horsham around 6:00 ...

Try this for CVG PARKING: We were very pleased with this arrangement. We went online to www.onestopparking.com and paid just $54.25 to park for 16 days (YES! $3.40/day) at the Residence Inn by Marriott (CVG). Their confirming email copied the staff person at the hotel, included driving directions, and shuttle instructions. And we did not have to park in a dark back lot, rather right ...
