Today was a big and busy day. We looked at almost everything you could possible. We walked around the city, visiting the White House, treasury department, museum of American History, Holocaust museum, Washington memorial, Jefferson memorial (which we paddle boated to), Martin Luther King jr memorial ...

    FANTASTIC Road Trip!
We looked at each other (and, yes, we were still speaking to each other!) & said we would do this again sometime!

We took the interstate to Washington and turned onto Chestnut Road. From there, Vance Station Road (bearing right to continue onto Vance Station) and then onto KOA road and into the campground.

The campground was nothing to write home about, and we most likely will not return to the same one again. It had a small pool ...

We'd never traveled through southern Ohio so thought it was time to do so. We also wanted to try a new route and chose to drive on interstate 79 through the western area of Pennsylvania. Great road and lovely scenery.. We had always dreaded the drive on 81 through Pennsylvania, now we have ...
