    Sunday Total miles 12,750 Drove around Erwin TN, visited the shelter where I adopted Erwin on Saturday April 05 2008 from this shelter, while thru-hiking the A.T..     ... axle nut! Then it went okay.......for 3 more steps.........then the lower ball joint decided it did not want to separate from the knuckle, 45 minutes later.....I made it separate. All good to go.....just pull out the drive shaft from the hub, pop in the new drive shaft and done...............Heck no! .......It took a sledge hammer, a freaking sledge hammer - to knock the shaft from the hub!!!     ... all dancing vehicle,Nick took it all in his stride and wasn't fazed at all. I also had a little trouble getting over the crossbar and onto the bikes we were hiring, but luckily two nice young men were on hand to give me a leg up.
