      Sunday Total miles 12,750 Drove around Erwin TN, visited the shelter where I adopted Erwin on Saturday April 05 2008 from this shelter, while thru-hiking the A.T.. Erwin remembered, he had a really worried look on his face.......until we left, then he just kinda put his head on the console and licked my hand.......- that's right boy, better behave!!..lol! - for the rest ...

      ... axle nut! Then it went okay.......for 3 more steps.........then the lower ball joint decided it did not want to separate from the knuckle, 45 minutes later.....I made it separate. All good to go.....just pull out the drive shaft from the hub, pop in the new drive shaft and done...............Heck no! .......It took a sledge hammer, a freaking sledge hammer - to knock the shaft from the hub!!!       Finally got around to doing the glovebox mod. Ended up be a lot more work than first thought. Finding the brackets was a pain, I did get a great deal on a piece of 2' x 2,5' , 1/4" plexiglass......only $1.00! Cost was, $1.00 for plexiglass, $5.50 brackets, $10.00 spill proof dog bowl, $3.50 small parts. Took a few hours to complete, over 2 days. ...
