... off all drafts making some $1. The other, Finks, has a secret phrase, that when said, allows you a shot of the bartenders choosing for $2. The bartender must have picked up on what we were throwing out there because he poured us some delicious whisky. Hung out with our Lakefront tour guide later in the night. They showed us some secret spots and good views. Milwaukee is full of great people and great vibes thus ...

Through the Time Warp and Into Milwaukee

When you type 'Milwaukee' into the GPS from Massillon Ohio, you get an estimated 7.5 hours of drive time. Apparently Google has yet to program time warps into the maps app. Not that time matters when you have no job, but let me break something down.

We left at 10am EST, lost an hour due to time zone change, and arrived at 7:45pm Wisconsin time. 10a-7:45p would be 9.75 hours then add in the lost hour and were at 10.75 hours total!?!

We made it.

On the 20th I’ll be heading for Houston and San Antonio… then on to Roswell NM and then Albuquerque, NM followed by the Grand Canyon –from there I’ll head down to San Diego. ... struck out three times facing Lee. I remark to Tim, "There is no one in this stadium happier to see a replacement for Cliff Lee than this guy," and no sooner am I finished speaking than BOOM, grand slam. Personally, I hate intentional walks as much as I hate righty-lefty switches, and I am generally pleased to see the manager that employs these tactics get what is coming to him, but Tim is a bit of a Philly fan from way back, and this was just bad. I have to say: ...

Harley Heaven

Stopped off in Milwaukee to check out the Harley Davidson Museum – definitely a very cool place. They've vintage bikes going back through every model back to when they were just motorized bicycles, to the ones customized for the military during WWII, as well as famous ones like from Easy Rider, and Elvis’ first Harley.

We’re seeing loads of bikers out on our travels and am starting to see the appeal!
