... so we could not have carried on any further with it in our eye line. As we pulled back onto Route 66' in centre of Claremore, Oklahom. Spotted on the corner was a quaint looking motel, called the 'Elms Motel'. We had to u turn at the next junction to go back to it. Commerce, then Miami (my-am-uh), Vinita (cool 66 murals - was supposed to have largest McDonalds but disappointing) so on we drove In Chelsea we saw a great R66 mural (took some photos on camera). We heard an ad on the radio about a BBQ festival in Oklahoma, it wasn't to far away so this was something we just had to check out. We arrived just after it started and they were already running out of the $6 tasting kits, the kits allowed you to sample about 12 stalls BBQ offerings; bargain! ... wonders, they had the toaster, now we are complete. We also joined Good Sams for $25. Hopefully it will pay for itself. Kindy navigated out of the tight little parking lot and we were off again.
