Victoria, im südosten auf vancouver island, wirkt auf den ersten blick wie eine grosstadt, ist aber keine. so konnte ich mein laufpensum etwas drosseln und stattdessen meine aufenthaltszeit in den bars etwas erhöhen. wollte eigentlich nur 3 tage bleiben, daraus wurden schlussendlich 6.<br><br>im ocean island backpacker gibt's 'ne supercoole bar, die auch sehr günstig thai curry serviert. dieses hatte ich schnell mal zu meinem gesunden und erschwinglichen standard-menu erkoren ...

... Immigration was a breeze, I was through in minutes. It took a while for my bags to arrive; I got them around 01:20. There was a huge line-up for cabs outside.
