A day in the Columbia River Gorge

After a quick breakfast of cereal and fruit, we packed our putters, nine irons, pitching wedges, a zillion golf balls, our golf gloves, and ourselves and headed out to Edgefield for a round of golf. It also had a nice view of the river and a balcony however the rain continued and it was fairly cold. The room also had a great electric fire place. After Denny's ( a good family restaurant) for dinner we stayed up late catching up on TV and looking closely at the weather. Back in the tent tomorrow so hope it ...

    Mmmmm Donuts

A travel blog entry by dianne39 on Jul 31, 2013

... to start. Everything was very good, and our waiter pointed us in the right direction to VooDoo. We decided to walk as it was about a mile away, and we had a good parking spot already. We ended up walking through maybe not the best neighbourhood - there were quite a few homeless people and it was a little quieter now that the stores were closed. Once we got there, we waited in line for about 20 minutes and picked out 6 crazy donuts that we ...
