Today we stayed in Gladewater, Tx. We stayed in Shallow Creek RV Park which is absolutely one of the best RV Parks we have ever stayed at. It is so clean and neat and roomy! Many college students have RV's here while attending college. It is a beautiful day. I caught up on laundry once again. Just a nice relaxing ...

Beautiful day to start our vacation. Took our time this morning and got out the door by 8:30am. Hope we didn't forget anything.

Pretty uneventful drive today. Not much to see and once we got off I-10 and started up I-49N, the traffic thinned out and we weren't having to dodge around trucks and such. I must say I found ...

... Those boys had to sit in a little vet's office with me and all the dogs and cats and owners for at least an hour. No complaints whatsoever! I can't recall the order that we did everything the rest of the week but we had fun! We hiked by the lake with Lola, explored Old Gladewater, read books, went antiquing, toured the museum, and went for a swim at Grandma's house! I must have worn them out because they were cranky at the end of the day.

... Aunt Katherine are so dear to me and I'm so happy to have been able to spend some time with them. We"ll meet them for breakfast in the morning before we head across the great state of Texas! Louisiana was interesting to drive through but DANG do they have lousy ...
