    ... travelling, it still amazes us that total strangers throw open their doors in welcome and are quite happy for you to invade their privacy - strangers we might have been but after a few days together we left behind some very dear friends.

    We had breakfast at the hotel and started our trek home at 10:30 am. It's been a different kind of holiday, cold ,damp and muddy weather but together as a loving family. Staying mostly indoors, with warm clothes and rubber boots was the theme for the week. This week will go down as one of our most unique holidays. Lunch today -chez Timmy .     They turned up later that afternoon to collect our next days rent,
    seemed to not really understand the questions (or avoided them) about
    the pool and hall but mentioned the laundry was open. Somehow in the
    last hour or two it had been mysteriously unlocked. Thankful to see
    the price is great, only $1 per load to wash or dry, cheapest one
    yet.
