... deadbolt did not latch . . . but the rest of it was fine. And, the building, if you over looked the rutted entrance, was right across from the original building . . . and the French restaurant was on the ground floor.

We had a delightful meal . . . that sort of made up for the disappointment of not being able to stay in the main structure. (more later, with some pictures)

Baie St-Paul was nice, had good food in Le Saint Pub, the pub from Charlevoix microbrewery. With a nice beer, had a good night of sleep and got up on time this morning. Some rain in the Quebec-city area was predicted so I planned to have lunch during that period. Left the motel around 8h30 and then the climb over Le massif started, 20km 700m up.
