... Franziskaner which was my personal favourite. After a very satisfying and filling meal, we headed back to the hotel to pack up and hit the sack for a quick nap before getting up to drive to JFK, NYC. The goal was to leave at midnight to beat the morning rush hour traffic in NYC; however, while trying to nap all I could think about was making that flight out of JFK. At 11:00 pm I woke Jody up telling her we needed to leave ASAP! More on this in our next blog!

... After several prayers and having both fingers and toes crossed, our normal 3 hour drive turned into just under 5. We encountered nutty rainfalls and fierce winds but thankfully, the thermostat hovered over the freezing mark.
