... tell him where I was. Took a hike (about 2 miles), flat, but lots of pretty foliage. Saw a turtle, a frog, and a rabbit. So we left today about 5pm (Central time), had a few things to take care of, so took a little more time to get the trailer together....will take pictures when I get a chance of the trailer and the truck......so far so good (no out of pocket expenses).....So we have been here before when we 1st started working for Maingate, we stayed at the Walmart ...

... weird that someone was going to the park as it was getting ready to close for the evening but at this point I was ecstatic that someone was there to give me a jump.

Once I had hit them up for a jump and was getting everything ready to go, I overhead one of the women talking on her phone. Apparently they were meeting a friend in the park and a miscommunication led to him being on the north side and them going to the south ...

We made a stop in Mineola, Texas . . . in what appeared to be a bit of a worn out town. I snapped a picture . . . with three stores on a main street . . . "Vintage Charm," "Taste of Italy," and an old hotel "Beckham Hotel Coffee Shoppe!" They have a certain 'charm,' but I doubt it is everyone's cup of tea (or coffee!).

Our first time at this Thousand Trails park, about an hour and a half northeast of Dallas. It's pretty much the middle of nowhere, but really a relaxing place to spend a week or so, with our site backing right up to the water, and views of incredible sunsets every night.
