We arrived at the campground about 1:30, got checked in and set up. Since it was still early in the day and HOT!, we decided to unhook the car and go somewhere. However, we made it to the church before any serious danger could overtake us. Many in the rest of the group took shelter at nearby homes and businesses and waited out the storm until everyone arrived safely.
