... and lots of samples including Tabasco ice cream and coke, oddly quiet nice! We took a drive around the grounds after on a hunt for alligators! That night we went to a local restaurant and had some amazing Cajun food, the gumbo was the best we've had. rain until this evening. A good day to
drive to Acadiana for a food tour and the Tabasco Factory. It’ll take about an hour to drive through
Lafayette.

Factory Tour: This was an OK tour. Pretty good video at the beginning, but the tour consisted of walking past the bottling operation. ...

... all at our age. It's still a fun book to read. We called a couple of Passport America places and finally find one that will have us for the night. We end up at Poche's Fish-N-camping and RV Park in Breaux Bridge, near Lafayette, LA. When checking in the owner refers to the pond that we are backed up to as the fish and gator pond. Serious? We have gators in the pond just 3 feet from our bumper? We will not be going to the bathroom in the dark ...
