... added that looked more like cinnamon. Being a foodie town had expected to find a wine store and a gourmet deli nope Walmart was the best we could do and although they sell wine (Walmart Brand) and good old Australian Yellow Tail you can't buy it til 11am it was 10:53 when we hit the checkout. So whilst all this is going on it has decided to rain so the picnic in the park is off. Driving around you realise the distinction between the haves and have nots which is typical of ...

Having been in the go for 3 weeks straight today is an official Rest Day. We are staying at the Ramada (would recommend to anyone). Huge place complete with convention centre. This is swamp country so you realise why they need bridges. ...

Of course, it’s always nice to be in camp, set up BEFORE the rains come, but by the time we had checked in the showers were mostly sprinkles. Hannah was glad. She detests going pee in the rain.

We arrived in Louisiana on Aug. 1 and our stuff came on Aug. 3. We unloaded everything from 9:30 am to 11 pm that night. Needless to say we were exhausted. Since then, we've been unpacking boxes and doing all the fun stuff associated with moving across the country - new licenses, insurance, blah, blah. We are a little tired, but finally feeling like we're a little settled.

The boys had a great first day of school at Our Lady of Fatima yesterday, and we are ...
