stuff than we counted on.
We hit the border with John Denver singing away on our radio, not a care in the world. The sky was clouding over, the temperature was dropping (rapidly) and the miles were flying bye.
Some of the older buildings are so enjoyable to see, the stories these buildings must be able to tell would be amazing.

... deer mating season. Adding to the intensity, we came upon a motorcycle accident scene where some guy failed to negotiate a curve and put his bike under a guardrail. Luckily the sheriff and ambulance had already arrived so we slowly made our way through the emergency vehicles. Needless to say that was like throwing a wet blanket on a fire. We became super cautious after that thinking some how we picked up that bad juju like hitch hikers outside of ...
... in 45 minutes of riding. We rode through trees, and miles of orchards with huge apples ripe and ready for harvest. They must be honest souls around these parts because the crop was right up to the edge of the road and not a fence in sight. Every corner (and there were plenty of those) brought a new and impressive vista.

While we're looking forward to being home we'll miss traveling, seeing new sights filled with new experiences. Till our next trip...............
