    ... Here we stopped for a minute at the river to take a photo and test the waters. Kids were playing in the beach on one side of us while others were launching their boats for some water fun. All very idyllic. At the entrance of the town, there was a bronze statue of Indians playing lacrosse. The town was named by a Lt. Zebulon Pike in the mid 1800's when he saw a group of Indians in the area playing lacrosse. Go figure. This time I navigated through the freeways ...
