Hung over but travelling!!!!!!!
... to go for a shower I packed up and got ready to leave. Eventually we left at 11am. Thank goodness we had left the majority of bags on the bike the night prior!
It was sunny and warm and one of us was enjoying the day. It was windy for the first hour. We stopped at the New Mexico border to take a photo of the sign and another rider pulled up to do the same.

Socorro or Bust!
... and I headed south toward the University. We did however, make a quick pit stop in the town of Los Lunas, just outside of Albuquerque to get lunch at the town's Sonic! Being from Washington State where it seems to be in a constant rain storm, we don't really have any Sonics, and I've already seen three! After our quick lunch break we headed onward to Socorro, which is about 75 miles south of Albuquerque.
