I had hoped with a Great Blue Heron on their sign they might have decorated along that theme and while it was not all done like that, there certainly were botanical and bird pictures throughout. It was typically American in that the receptionists were trying to make you wait for half an hour. We indicated we were willing to sit at the bar, which we did. ... after the call was done he and Richard golf carted to Sumter Landing where I met them for a drink and some nibbles - courtesy of Milt and very much appreciated. Although it was only 5ish it was dark and Milt needed to return to Orlando as the others were somewhat stranded without wheels in a condo.

Neither of us felt like returning to the Square especially since we want to attend the Tree Lighting Ceremony tomorrow ...

We had a spot of rain today - literally - and some cloud cover with intermittent blue skies. Our landscapers, C & K, came first thing this morning to trim our overgrown shrubs and the garden looks much better. Better them than us as I have not a clue about how to manage the species here.

... We also saw several shops in Wildwood - along Hwy. 301 - The Red Door, the Amish Furniture Shop and Babette's furniture. We were home for lunch as we had put a hold on three tables at the consignment shop with the view that Richard should see them. When we arrived one of the furniture movers brought to my attention that they had just brought in a beautiful white wicker bedroom set in case we were interested. He took us to the loading dock and it was perfect ...
