... Dakota.

News went on while we were gone. Trouble in Ukraine continues. We witnessed a fragile cease fire in Gaza, perhaps it can hold this time and we were witness, as was the world, to two of the most horrific American deaths imaginable, at the hands of barbarians We also lost two of the greatest gifts to comedy in Robin Williams and Joan Rivers but we got to laugh again with them as tribute was paid to them in the media.

It's a God Thing

... One night, Brenda and Stan asked about our RV and how did we like camping. Next thing I know, they bought their first RV and our conversation quickly turned to "road trip"! Brenda and Stan had bid on and won an Alaskan Cruise at a cancer benefit that had to be taken before the end of this year. They invited us to join them and so we decided to combine "road trip" with Alaskan cruise.

We drove 7314 miles in the coach, 1800 miles in the car doing side trips and spent 11 days ...

If all goes well we will arrive in New Orleans tomorrow afternoon and plan to be having dinner at Emeril's. While I have been to New Orleans several times, all but one visit has been for business. I'm looking forward to seeing more of the town, outside hotel meeting rooms and the obvious places that cater to mainly out of town business people.

Inspection Day

... went well with Lon - a professional engineer. He saw several leaks in the irrigation system but other than that he said we had selected a good place in the Villages. What a surprise!

We went to Sumter Square after as the inspection took most of the afternoon. We immediately saw a golf cart for sale that hopefully we can investigate tomorrow. It is gas and a Yamaha ...
