Even I learned that are at least 55,000 golf carts in the Villages and that the Villages started 50 years ago. I think it is safe to say that Mum is impressed with the size and neatness of landscaping for the whole area.

After lunch we went to the Colonial Days Festival at ...

Today is our third day in the Villages (second full day) but when the weather is fine I want to be out and about. It is also our third St. Patrick's Day in the Villages. Unfortunately today it is raining - good for catching up on indoor stuff - with severe thunder storms, up to 25 m.p.h. winds and threat of tornadoes. I did not know that Florida is #2 in the States for tornadoes! Sadly the St. Patrick's Day activities to be held in ...
