    ... a few of museums.... The American History Museum which had a exhibit of the history of food in America. Very interesting for a dietitian. Popped into the national museum of air and space, huge place didn't cover a fraction of it. Thirdly the museum of Americans Indians which had been recommended by my host in Portland.     ... the world .One of the domes housed a rain forest which felt like we were standing in the Daintree . We had the driver drop us at the Hancock building on the way back to town as we wanted to go up the second biggest building in Chicago and the 3rd in USA to the observation desk and check out the view ,unfortunately the sky walk ...the glass bottom walk around ....was under renovation so we couldn't stand out there but the view was amazing right ...

    Snowy morning here in the DC area so I left early to get to Dulles airport. Metro Red and Orange Line from Silver Spring to West Falls Church, then Washington Flyer Coach to the airport. Quick trip, no issues.

    Flights look pretty empty going across, have one or two empty seats next to me on all flights, YAY!
