We were privileged today to be able to introduce Macy and Anna to a legendary restaurant and one of Eric’s favorites. The Waffle House! Anna had cheese grits and hash browns, and Macy had a chocolate chip waffle. Macy has declared it her new favorite breakfast spot. She has her sights set high!

... was the first real artist in the area. Most of the rest of the neighbors were farmers and thought he and his wife were nuts! They built a beautiful Victorian style house with porches all the way around it and lots of gardens that the wife grew flowers in instead of food.
TC himself would invite other artists to come out and paint the landscapes (his favorite subject). He ended up with quite a following.

This morning we went to 'The View' restaurant with Bill and Jeni and their daughter Suzi and her husband Don. OMG good food and great bloody mary's! Such a fun group. Lots of laughter at our table.
After brunch we went out to the view point and took pictures with the 'stoner' statue. (A statue of a couple with their arms around each other looking out at the lake.)
