        ... Whales splashing around just off the coast so we power walked a few more miles in the hope we'd see them....we must have been too late and didn't see any but still enjoyed more sea lion watching.

        We made our way back to the truck and spent the next few hours just relaxing and watching some more dolphins playing around really close to the beach.

        In the afternoon we made our way to San Jose to visit a friend ...

        We just lounged about this morning and then went for a walk whilst Rowan and Michelle were in work. When we came back we headed to a bar for some drinks. The girls started on the cocktails whilst me and Rowan just drank water and watched the Ice Hockey on TV. You can probably see were this is going but ...

        ... known this, and in my defence I had read somewhere personal hand bags were OK, but obviously not from a good source!!!) so anyone heading to Levi Stadium, don't take a hand bag! There were plenty of guys walking around with clear PVC disposable bags for people like me, and in we went. There were games and bars all set up inside the gating, we picked up a few free novelty items, sun cream, lip balm, red and gold beads (go niners) ...

        ... It was quite wet in the bottom of the kayak and on the seat ! I was impressed that she knows our relationship, and that Chris is our son !! Heaps of people have their dogs with them, and it's really good that people can leave food on the tables uncovered, without having to worry about flies !!!
