    ... in Denver was to see our first Major League Baseball game. The Colorado Rockies were up against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

    Before the game started we said to each other we wanted to see a Homerun and a double play. Third pitch of the match Arizona went up 1-0 with a big homer over centerfield.

    ... and so well cared for. Streets are clean, houses are neat and well painted, gardens well tended... it has a friendly air about it. After driving up a few of the incredibly steep streets and back through the Presidio Park, whatever had been clunking under the car stopped, or fell off... which was a relief. Jette had spotted a diner last night on our walk back to the Motel, and suggested we could have breakfast there if the Motel's was bad. So we did. Mel's Drive In ...

We drove through the Stanford campus looking for a place to get out and stretch, but seems like Stanford has the same parking issues as the UT-Austin campus.
