We were up and on the road, leaving Waterton, around 8am. We went a different way than we came. Instead of going back thru Glacier, we headed north on Hwy 6 in Alberta, thru Pincher Creek. At about Sparwood, we crossed into British Columbia. Then down Hwy 3, thru Fernie, and to the U.S. Border at Roosville.

So I got my nerve up and signed up to whitewater down the Flathead River. It was lots of fun, rafted about 8 miles of the river. The level was at max 2-3, ...

... at Finley Point State Park - a very pretty campground with boat launch and marina on the southeastern side of the lake. The lake drive had been through mostly farm land and wasn't particularly scenic. When we inquired about fishing we were informed that all of the fishing was in the northern half of the lake where a deep trench attracted all of the fish and hence the fishermen. So no fishing again. The campsite was lovely however.

... in the sky and it was time to head off the lake and back up to the house.
Back at the house, the kids spent the remainder of the late afternoon watching a movie in the built-in 7 seat movie theater on the bottom floor of the house. The theatre was equipped with leather reclining chairs, surround sound, large projection screen etc.....They would have spent all day in there if we had let them. Then we had the most exquisite Mexican Dinner with ...
