Pensacola... the show was good, the hotel was horrible.
For the record, Pensacola does not count as Florida. The panhandle is not Florida. I know Florida. Pensacola is Alabama light.
I couldn't even find a Publix nearby!
On to New Orleans!!!!!
:)
De camino hacia New Orleans, paramos a visitar dos Parques Nacionales, el Big Lagoon, uno de los mejores parques en la costa de los USA, y el Tarkiln Bayou Park, caracterizado por las raras especies de plantas como algunas carnivoras.

... roasted red peppers and artichoke hearts and mozzarella cheese. Delicious! And for the main course mushroom and chicken pasta. Mhm....slept in a bed and it was wonderful. Torrential downpour the next morning. But clear skies after that on our way to Louisiana!!!
Navarre, Florida, United States faith.morgan... lights and all tons of cars. We all got off and proceeded east on 90. To my horror, the rains came in buckets and 4 minues later i was soaked alll the way thru. Waterproof Gear...my ass!
After two hours i'd made it 7 miles on SR 90. I got back to I-10 and was the only one on the road for miles and miles. I gave it more gas, which did two things: first, i froze my tail off. Secondly, I couldnt see anything due my faceshiled fogging up. It just got too dangerous ...
... my hand is barely sore and not red at all. Very cool invention and costs about 5 bones.
As for todays ride, it was uneventful. I left Pearland TX around 1130am local time. Got really sleepy after an hour or so and pulled off to have a snack my aunt packed for me. After that i was fine for a few more hours but then I started nodding off again. Son of a! Exited in Lafayette LA and had some greasy ass chicken. I threw most of it ...
... familiar shaped dorsal fin broke the surface, followed by another, then two more. You wouldn’t flamin’ read about it. A suitable level of smugness came over me.
I can talk to marine animals!!! Well ,the dolphins anyway. The Manta’s are from a different social scene and they’re very clique-y. The Loggerheads are just plain rude, cute but rude. They just ignored me point blank and swam away. I did manage to bond with a jelly fish as well, but ...
Well, this is where we called home until the economy crashed and took my business with it. But that gave us an opportunity and impetus to seek broader learning in Saigon. Of all the places we've lived this is at the top. On the bay, with a yard, dog....the American dream. Quiet town living, safety, low cost of living, only the occasional hurricane. It is a good place. We miss our friends and will return.
Milton, Florida, United States ricketts... I was still pretty exhausted and didn't have my head in the game the way I should have. I am sure that I will learn to stay closer to my camera in future ventures so I don't lose the memories of what makes all this travel so great.
My flight departed from PNS at 6:25 a.m. Big thanks to Mary for getting me to the airport by 5:20. While checking in, I ran into my old boss and his wife who were heading out west for a week of touring. My Atlanta layover was a couple of hours so I had time to walk the terminal, smoke, have coffee, and people-watch. My biggest challenge is staying away from folks on their cell phones, almost an impossibility these days. And how do many of the conversations go? "I'm at the ...
Pensacola, Florida, United States metalkpretty... was a lot of hurricane relief effort going on while I was down there; a lot of hard work and cleaning of the beaches I would later enjoy so much. I also spotted my first shark here and ended up finding the father of my son Jayden.I also got to sit and watch MANY evolutions practiced by the BLUE ANGELS.Overall I had a blast, and hated it.I was there through 3 tropical storms and transferred during another.
