Day 1

With weather forecasts of rain, thunderstorms, and more rain all week beginning on Monday, we setup the RV on Sunday afternoon and immediately head to downtown New Orleans, Louisiana (NOLA). We moved forward to Pass Christian,Mississippi—TLC Wolf River RV Resort. It was a very short travel day, and I was glad of that.

When we checked into the resort, we were told this campground had been completely destroyed by Hurricane Katrina and rebuilt. The Resort kept one of the cabins that was not destroyed by the hurricane.

We left La and moved on into Mississippi on June 9. At the two mile marker I headed south and we got a site at Silver Slipper RV Park, owned by the SS Casino. The Gulf is across the street and a shuttle will pick us up for the casino.
