... enjoying each other's company, while still feeling connected to the people that are still in the Midwest, thousands of miles away. I am really excited to get back home and see everyone.

Speaking of heading back... (great segway) Now that it's April, Ryan, Max and I can now start to plan our epic road trip back to Indiana. Our trip out here was a ton of fun and we are looking forward for this trip to be even better. On our way out here we took ...

Plus it makes you sound really cool, kinda like you live here. Yesterday was Sunday and we went to this church called Prism (a metaphor for God's light shining through the church was the definition they gave us). It was in an old church that use to be used mostly for weddings, so it has a really churchy feel with ...

Southern California - where one of the lead news stories is frost on a car in Burbank! We laughed out loud.

Today we have tickets to "Decorating Places." There are three venues we can visit to see the Rose parade floats being decorated. For those of you who don't know, the floats are decorated with organic materials only and every inch needs to be covered. The organic material isn't just flowers but also can be coffee, fruit, seeds, beans, lentils, ...
