    Waking up to humungous spiders and bugs and damp and mist was not not the best of mornings to wake up to but it was time to press on to our next destination Oklahoma!     Then it was off to Cattlemen's for a T-Bone. No trip to OKC is complete without a visit to this restaurant founded in 1910. The food and service were great!

    It was hard to leave the La Posada, and if home hadn't been on the horizon, we probably would have lingered longer to look around a bit more. This might have been Mary Colter’s crowning glory. So glad someone saved it for all of us.

    We had breakfast in the "Turquoise Room," just as we had dinner the night before. They have done a wonderful job of restoring this hotel.

    The friendly locals greet us as we leave the plane. I didn't have much trouble understanding but I could see Ella screwing her face up trying to understand what they were saying.
