I got into Chicago bright and early at 11:30 PM and fortunately Riley the nice, young lad I was staying with was working the night shift so he was able to show me the way from Chicago's Union Station to his apartment.

Chicago was a snowy, icy "winter wonderland" from the moment I stepped off the train and it proceeded to remain in the 20 for the three days I was here. I heard more than a few people tell me that the summers make all the cold worth it, I think they're ...

We met up again at Heaven on Seven on the corner of Ohio and Rush Streets; it is a Louisiana-style restaurant which serves up great Cajun food (including gumbo). I left the house around 4:30 pm and traffic was not an issue but wow, the state police were out in force big time! I didn't dare go but maybe a few miles per hour over the posted speed limit. Counted 30 of the state boys in an 80 mile journey to the hotel.

Once again I have selected the Radisson O'Hare for my pre flight stay. I've enjoyed staying here plus I ...

... meal, but we overheard some other diners saying there was a thunder storm and heavy rain on its way, and on cue the sky outside turned dark so we quickly legged it back to the hotel, just in time as the lightening started.
We think the rain is following us to each city.
If you get the chance Chicago is worth a visit folks.
