... at once. I am interested in how each State cares for their roads, the landscaping in the medians, the litter. In the Northern States the roads have heaved leaving large cracks in the pavement. Warning "bump ahead" signs appeared on a regular basis. As you headed south there were potholes to avoid and the warmer it became, the smoother the road. We have travelled from tall hardwood forests to evergreens bearing the biggest pinecones ever! ...

... them undoubtably and we were happy to have prepaid them. I want to give Matt a Tasmania pin, he collects them and puts them on a lanyard behind him while he's driving. He leaving a few minutes after we get off with our bags, so we plan to get it out immediately and present it to him. ... other Sea Islands (like Hilton Head) is that it is reachable only by boat. There's actually only about 200 people that live on the Island. It is very remote. Beautiful place to have a wedding. But.......everything has to go over by boat.
This island is so rich in history I could go on forever. There is a movie I'm going to rent soon "The Water Is Wide" that was filmed on Daufuskie ...

... They finally showed up and we just chilled out around the pool the rest of the day.

Cindy and Layne researched the restaurant magazine and selected Truffles Cafe. Layne made reservations on Open Table for 6:45. We arrived right on time and were taken to our table. The wait staff was very nice and our Maitre'd came back to take drink orders for us... we told Layne it was because of her because ...

... blocks were to be used for residential purposes and trust lots would serve as the sites of civic and commercial structures. The city was expanded by replicating the pattern. Today, Savannah consists of 22 squares, each surrounded by 8 blocks.

Tomorrow, we plan to walk around the city and visit some of the squares and famous houses. More news and pictures to follow!
