Angel lodge it got busier and we started seeing people from our coach
trip. Visiting the Canyon during monsoon season has it's benefits as
we pretty much had the trail to ourselves. When we got to the lodge
we drunk water from the Canyon spring, and had time to quickly grab a
cup of hot chocolate and Earl Grey . . .. bandage up Lynn's feet and
buy some postcards. On the way back we stopped at another little
service station on route ...
... 11 am on through the evening. Some of these winds are predicted to be in the high 60’s. It is a good thing we didn’t have far to drive. Drove over to the east of Tucson and went by the Air Force base with moth balled planes for miles stored here for parts and whatever. There is a museum but if you don’t have a permit you can’t get near the planes.

... Lexus, BMWs on the road in the real world. The kids worked at getting good with finding information we need on the iPad (something I never had on road trips.) They did NOT love Date Shakes from Dateland (something I did have on road trips!)
