... lasted four and half hours. I had a seven-hour layover there, most of which I spent in the Air France lounge. The only complication was that the transfer desk where I would receive my boarding passes for the Delta flights was on the lower arrival level of the airport, and the Delta desk didn’t open until three hours before departure time. From Roswell we drive to Carlsbad Caverns. The caverns are on the Unesco world heritage list, so we decide to pay them a visit. Located 250 meters under ground are loads of stalagmites, stalactites, draperies, soda straws and popcorn. Soda straws being the tiny ones hanging from the ceiling . In Europe we call them Spaghetti. Popcorn are located on the ground. The cavern is beautiful, but we saw an even more beautiful cavern in Slovenia last year, so were a little spoilt. ...

... the pictures, she really enjoyed playing with her cousins. Once the party started that afternoon, Addy ran around and played. Grampa kept and eye on her while Mama and Baba finished up some things. Even with a house filled with over 30 people, she did great. Poor girl was tired once it was time to eat. ... go through customs. Except after all this work, we cannot find our flight on the board. Ughhh! It is in Terminal 3, that took a 15 minute standing bus trip to get there. John is managing his fully loaded backpack and two giant suitcases. I have my really heavy backpack and Addy. We were pretty close to hitting bottom.
