... their bodies come right at you through the windshield. Your car may kill the Moose, but the Moose's corpse is very likely to do you a bit of no good, too. Not to mention trashing your car!

Fortunately, they tend to be out and dangerous mostly at night ... and I wasn't driving in forested and isolated areas during the dark.

          ... and enjoying Life!!
Today is a little sad for us. Inara our precious little granddaughter is moving to Las Vegas. We are going to miss her so much. She is very special to us and we love her so much. I see a lot of trips to Las Vegas in our future.
We are moving on to Renfrew, Ontario tomorrow and another adventure. We still have another 94 days before we get back to Port Orange.

... mazda 3 to a car wash. After all, the "fly" was quite dirty from our drive to Fiona's camp.

Once the car was rinsed off a bit, we headed back to the hotel to see Frederick. We asked if Frederick was hungry (but he said he was not). After all, Joanne had packed him a lunch with plenty of food to last him the whole day and beyond....

For the rest of the night, we spent time with Frederick talking and watching tv.

... br> After some fun in the pool, we decided to head back to the hotel as we were getting hungry. We ordered delivery from Pizza Pizza (wings and pizza) which was quite tasty. After eating, Fiona and I returned to the pool for some more swimming.

After swimming, Fiona and I went back to the hotel to watch tv and rest.

We left St. Ignace and headed for Sault St. Marie on US side to take a boat tour of the Soo Locks at 10 am. Gorgeous hot day and no wind, the Great Lakes were calm as one would expect a lake to be. Thoroughly enjoyed 2 hour boat tour of the 4 US commercial locks and we returned on the Canadian side through the pleasure yacht lock. There is 21 feet difference from Lake Superior and Lake Huron. We drove over International bridge to Sault St. Marie Ontario, customs ...
