Today is Sunday, 11/2 and my first thought is that it's hard to believe that I've been retired 5 months already and that we've been on the road for nearly 5 months. It's so true --- how quickly time flies. This is our last day in San Antonio after being here for 2 weeks. This is the longest we've stayed in one spot. We really enjoyed it here. We'll just keep ...

If your connected to one wifi signal from a particular business while shopping, that signal becomes out of range as soon as you walk down the street. Then you start over looking for another signal to jump onto.

Day 18 - Cemetary to Riverwalk

A travel blog entry by byramroadtrips on Jul 20, 2013

Woke up none too early, got breakfast at the hotel, and then hit the town. First thing was taking the New Orleans streetcar uptown. Stopped at Lafayette Cemetary #1 to browse, and then the streetcar back to the French quarter. Wandered to Jackson Square to see the artwork and people, then tried to find a Po-Boy sandwich place on the way back to the hotel (a bit of drama between the girls). Ate lunch and headed out of town for long ...
