Our true plan was to anchor somewhere along the Wacamaw River up one of the Cypress lined Creeks. Gary spent hours researching and we had up to 7 possible stops. But because of my work we needed good cell service; and after trying all 7 we knew we could not stay in this area.
So Plan H had us in Georgetown, SC for the week.
No complaints. Nice southern town; good food; and we made some friends.

We had one day that rained most of the time. Otherwise there were a few pop-up showers but mostly the weather was good.
Once we left Surfside Beach, SC we headed to Sapphire Valley, NC of which we had to take hwy 64W. What a spectacular drive through the mountains! This reminded us of driving through the mountain region in California that we took going to Point Arena. A fabulous motorcycle drive!!!
