... We rode in a helicopter for about 5 min for 40$ each. It was a quick ride but a great experience. After that we headed back to barefoot landing to see the tigers from T.I.G.E.R.S preservations. people were taking pictures holding the tiger but that was 100$. We just decided to look at the cub tigers through the glass. That was a nice experience. They were very playful. ...

Our true plan was to anchor somewhere along the Wacamaw River up one of the Cypress lined Creeks. Gary spent hours researching and we had up to 7 possible stops. But because of my work we needed good cell service; and after trying all 7 we knew we could not stay in this area.
So Plan H had us in Georgetown, SC for the week.
No complaints. Nice southern town; good food; and we made some friends.

I also needed to get some items looked at on the van (a roof vent I had open while reversing under a tree had snapped off and the roof aircon unit I had knocked while using a drive-through atm machine). In addition, the van needed a new battery and a few squeaks that needed to be fixed. To top it all, I also needed to find ...

... see new sights - some great and others not so great, blare the music as loud as it'll go and sing at the top of my lungs (be happy you never have to witness that atrocity), and allow the worries and anxieties that have built up over time to fall ...

          ... with country music.

We had one day that rained most of the time. Otherwise there were a few pop-up showers but mostly the weather was good.

Once we left Surfside Beach, SC we headed to Sapphire Valley, NC of which we had to take hwy 64W. What a spectacular drive through the mountains! This reminded us of driving through the mountain region in California that we took going to Point Arena. A fabulous motorcycle drive!!!
