... actually we did!) trying to spot animals. Getting to see them up close was such a bonus! All the volcanic activity in the park was awing and pretty crazy when you think about it too! We understand why Yellowstone is such a popular place and why people keep coming back time and time again. We would love to see it in the Fall or even Winter but that trip may have to wait for a few years! We are already looking forward to it!
We had a late breakfast at Ruby's and then it was off to the local coffee and bakery shop with Beth and Priya. We all decided to walk to downtown Missoula to see the shops and scenery.
Intermittent showers occurred all day, so Keith and I walked back early and did a few errands by car. We then rescued the girls from downtown shopping after the showers would not stop and they could not return to the apartment.
... one radio station that came in once in Montana, and not country, pop, or classic rock, but a crazy death metal station. Charlott has been doing a great job getting lessons for the kids to work on in the car during the long drives. We also learn random facts and facts about places and things we see along the way. Tomorrow we will leave Missoula to Miles City, MT where we will spend two nights to give us time to recoup from the long haul. Happy ...
