      After being on the road most days since arriving in Vancouver BC May 11, it's rather nice not to have to unpack, and repack our bags for a few days. as we're now with Ben and Jamie's place, or should I say her mother's house.

      We didn't really get out into San Diego much. We figured we'd see the coast as we traveled north, so we focused on enjoying the park and spending time with Molly's friends.       ... Then took the Old Town Trolley tour on a loop starting from Balboa Park. Was fun! Some of my favourite bits were little Italy, old town, the waterfront (big military ships and museum), Gas Lamp district, and the AMAZING Coronado. Next time, each of those places is getting some proper time and attention. Sadly heading back to LA today (on Pacific Surfliner again so not all bad), but San Diego is on my list to come back ...
