    ... pretty clear. We checked in for our 3:53PM flight to Chicago and the board said it was on-time. However, by the time we got to the gate 10 minutes later, it was delayed for 20 minutes and then I got a text update saying it would be about 40 minutes late. Then they announced that they hoped to have us in the air by 4:54PM -- more than an hour late. The problem was that there were delays in Chicago and we were waiting for the plane.     ... to keep away from Satan's Little Helpers, and line all the couches, beds, walls with a white powder. That seems to be the only way to kill them besides extreme heat (the fires of Mt Doom itself -yes, we're doing a LOTR marathon- or industrial laundro-mat driers).     ... house in between shops like Gucci, Louis Vitton and Channel so the steaks started at $42. Amanda had a creamy lobster soup and Matt had a burger both of them tasting amazing and fantastic cocktails to follow. We would have happily stayed there all night but we had tickets booked for a Chicago White Sox baseball game so we had to get back to the hostel.
