... quite sleepy. We made up a quick meal and passed out in our tents, expecting an easy sleep. Only to wake up, various times during the night, to the pounding rain on the ceiling. I slept like poo.

... some Amish owned farms. There is a tiny General Store in Burkes Garden that is run by the Amish. We had a great sandwich with homemade sour dough bread. An excellent sandwich and to top it off a bowl of homemade peach ice cream. What a lunch!!

Our first day we took a ride over to Grayson Highlands State Park where they have wild ponies. You have to take a hike of about .8 of mile up to see them. We got lucky and got see about 10 out of the 150 or so ponies. They didn't bother us and we didn't bother them:) They are cute and to thin ...

... for a bit, and I did, got swept by a current and got sucked under by a wirlpool FUN! there where also parts when the current would take us towards a boulder and then we would think we would hit it, then carry us away and towards another rock. Whilst we where swimming. The instructor also showed us a picture of when they go fishing in the river we was in - didn't realise 2 1/2ft long catfish was swimming under us!
