... some Amish owned farms. There is a tiny General Store in Burkes Garden that is run by the Amish. We had a great sandwich with homemade sour dough bread. An excellent sandwich and to top it off a bowl of homemade peach ice cream. What a lunch!!

... and help pay for their care they sell some of them at auction. So if you want one you had better hurry as the auction is at the end of the month. We were going to hike a little further into the park but the fog rolled in and you would have had a hard time seeing any scenery.

So we where on the road again. And and we went to Shenandoah national park and drove on the skyline road thing - a road on the mountains with views of the surrounding area (at least we think so because it was cloudy) it was strange because we where above the clouds so it was blue sky for us, but cloudy below.
