The plastic cover had a few deep grooves in it as it flew from my bike at 55mph and hit the road. I turned the GPS on and it worked!!! Thanks to Garmin and their rugged (and expensive) 'motorcycle' GPS.

After leaving Nauvoo, we drove a little ways to Carthage, Illinois to tour Carthage Jail. Carthage Jail is where Joseph Smith, the LDS prophet, was martyred. It was sad to be in that same room. It was kind of cool though, because I had to be in a reenactment of the martyrdom of Joseph Smith a couple weeks later.It was a really interesting experience, besides the screaming babies that were in our tour.
After touring the jail, we got back in the car, and headed back to Chicago.
