... thing which told you when they were near. Evan must be a bit of a speed freak. Not sure how much more of this american food i can take. Makes you feel absolutely rank. ... he goes into knowing he'll get them and that's made all the difference. Performing for an assembly is much different than performing in a ring, but at least he's getting a lot of experience now so that when we do get on a show, he'll be ready.

We found out after the performance that the local newspaper had been there taking photos, so at some point, there will either be photos ...

... girls who act like they're afraid of clowns VERY LOUDLY and a man in a store who couldn't wrap his head around John not being embarrassed about being a clown. Hah. The folks at the library were really nice and the gas at Casey's was the cheapest we've seen in awhile ($3.49/gal).

We took off around 11:30am for Carthage, IL and drove through cornfields for an hour...I definitely prefer that to the outskirts of Chicago!

... came around a blind corner a little distracted and saw that I was heading for a 6-8" round rock. I hit it, the front suspension held with only a one inch twitch in the handle bars. I was so happy with the suspension then I looked down and my GPS was gone! Well you know what people are without their phones or Ipads, that's me with my GPS.
