    Talladega Mornings

"Is that it?" "Yeah dad, that's definitely it," I retorted upon pulling up to the remarkable 2.6 mile-circumference Super Speedway. The Talladega Speedway truly was something else. After a multitude of selfies with old race cars with retro advertisements, we took a bus tour of the track itself. Driving on the track where Southern legends created their legacies was awe-inspiring. Some classic pics in the winner circle saw us leave for the ...

    On the road again!!

A travel blog entry by coronafamily on Jun 21, 2015

We're hitting the road again today. We will be heading towards New Orleans to see the sights. Eboney has read a few books that mention the Lafayette cemetery so that will be one of the sights. Although we are driving, this is going to be a great Father's Day. I couldn't ask for anything more. This trip, and being with my family make it all worth it. Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there including my own Jack, Jodi's dad Al, and stepfather ...

... house and laundry. On our trip west from New Hampshire, we would stop in areas that peaked our interest or was one of our "must see" destinations and we would stay for a week or more, so it was important that the campground was to our suiting. We stayed at small parks with fewer than 50 sites, and some ginormous parks with over 400. (Trust me, there are parks with upwards of 700 - 800 sites and mega-parks with over ...

Hell Yeah! That's what I'm talking about

... cool. They were throwing a football so we introduced ourselves and got chatting. Was looking like we would not get to the inside of the track to our camping spot until 5pm. Next thing we know we are hearing "Tell the Aussies - we are on the move" so into the RV we get and into the track we go. Park the RV on our site and started walking around to find Gary (the guy who we met at Walmart). A few drinks there and then we met up ...
