The city known for its wild side, with cowboys just off the range, famous sheriffs, like Wyatt Earp and Bat Masterson now has tricycle races on main street. Stewart Plumping is this years grand champion. You must ride an adult tricycle out 100 feet round a cone and make it back to the start for your hand off. The race is a 4 man team relay.

Next day it was off to the rodeo. The bulls, bucking horses and calfs out did the cowboys in every event. ...

... it. That type of work is so ******* a person physically. He said that he has had three back surgeries and is planning on having another one this fall. At first I didn't necessarily believe the tale he was weaving, but after listening to him for a few minutes, we think we really did meet an authentic character. ... in the last 20 seconds... how very sad. Also, I'm very full from dinner and my drink and all the water. After dinner, Tay, LilRayRay and I head to Walgreens for some quick pick ups and when we get outside to walk back to host, it's thunderstorming and we start to run. ... so you can imagine us women were quite excited about this). Afterwards, it was showers at the Y and a few affordable housing presentations. We headed to a local restaurant later in the evening to watch USA play Portugal in the World Cup (such a close game!) and fuel up on fajitas and chips and salsa in preparation for our final century of the summer ...

... whoever lived in middle of nowhere Kansas, and got hit by water balloons as we rolled into lunch. (Actually quite refreshing). After lunch, the four of us rode off and I ended up chatting the rest of the ride away with Mary in a killer tailwind. We basically floated into the host site.
